The husband and wife team say they offer organic, natural, eco-friendly goods at their new shop Gaia Health Store in Carlton Place.

Even the premises have been kitted out by hand by André, using reclaimed fixtures and fittings from scrap wood, metal, pallets and upcycled furniture.gaia health store exterior calton place 600px

It also has a refill station for personal care, laundry and cleaning products, and a selection of dried whole foods like pasta and rice.

And it boasts the largest selection of plastic-free, home compostable pre-packed food in Southampton.

• Gaia Health Store is at 22 Carlton Place and open Mon–Sat 10am-6pm, and Sundays noon until 6pm.
