Laughter, music, and a shared commitment to a greener future are promised at Saturday’s first SoGreenFest.

It’s billed as “a gathering of likeminded local people to network, share information, enjoy food, and be inspired and entertained”.
Hosted at a space’sArches Studios (SO14 3FE), SoGreenFest will feature performances designed to entertain and inspire climate action.
There’s music from Fossilheads Climate Crisis Cabaret, The Guillotine Union Boys, Straight to Cake and Shanti Green.
There will also be stalls from organisations such as Greenpeace, Southampton Seed Swap, XR Southampton, and Southampton National Park City.
And speaking will be Lyn Brayshaw from Southampton Greenpeace and community organiser Rebecca Kinge.

£1 from each ticket sold will go to Southampton Greenpeace, and it’s a BYOB (corkage fee £5pp) event with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks available for purchase.
