Bitterne Park ward councillor Amanda Barnes-Andrews said: “Your Labour councillors have been lobbying for these improvements for some months and we are delighted to see that the Steuart Road play park will be completely refurbished, and soon. It’s great news for the families of Bitterne Manor.
“We look forward to seeing children and young people enjoying the new play equipment before Christmas.”
