Resurfacing work is set to take place between November 20 and 27.

The Hampshire County Council project will affect from the roundabout near Torridge Gardens, close to shops including Tesco Express, to the Swaything Road roundabout by the Applegreen service station, according to Causeway (previously one.network), which says its for: "Road resurfacing that replaces the top layer of the road construction with a new asphalt surface".

Updates will be posted on yellow signs.

The closure coincides with continuing Network Rail operations on St Denys Road causing an eastbound closure likely until the end of the month, so it could add to the woes of some motorists trying to find alternative routes to and from the east of the city during peak periods.
