Music in the City returns to Southampton this weekend

music in the city OnlyMusicCanSaveUs socialmediaSouthampton’s popular free music festival Music in the City is back this weekend, with two days of live performances across some of the city’s most unusual spots.

The festival takes place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September, bringing together musicians, poets and performers for a packed programme that spans genres from pop and punk to folk, rock, RnB, poetry and classical.

Performances will once again be popping up in venues ranging from cosy pubs to Southampton’s historic medieval vaults, giving audiences the chance to discover both new music and hidden corners of the city.
