Bitterne Park’s popular free festival day 'TriFest' is set to return to Riverside Park this summer, with organisers promising a familiar community feel - and a few new additions.

It will take place from 12pm to 7pm on Saturday, July 18, at the Bitterne Park Triangle end of Riverside Park.
As we noted at the time, last year’s event was a case of “shades on, pints in hand, and happy dog show hounds”, as hundreds descended on the park for a laid-back day of live music and community activity.

Organisers say the 2026 event will build on that success, with a line-up of local musicians, traders and community groups, alongside stalls, games, food and art projects. A dog show run by Second Chance Animal Rescue will also return, with entries on the day.
New features this year are set to include a raised stage to improve views of performances, the possible addition of a silent disco, and organisers hope even to have found a way to include on-site toilets this year!
More information will be shared in the coming weeks at trifest.uk.
