According to a social media post from the school, the campus is now phone and smart watch-free between 8.30am and 3pm.
Students must carry a special Yondr pouch with them each day, even if they do not bring a phone or smart watch to school. Pouches will be checked by tutors, with additional random checks.
Phones and smart watches can be used between 3pm and 3.15pm as students leave the school site, unless they are staying for an organised activity. Smart glasses are not permitted.
The school says the measures are intended to create a “focused, safe and distraction-free environment for learning”.
