Celebration Day, the film of rock legend Led Zeppelin's first live show in 27 years, is said to be the closest thing to actually seeing the band play live, and we've got tickets for one pair of bitternepark.info readers to attend the film's launch at the Vue, in the Swan Centre Eastleigh, on October 17.

On December 10, 2007, Led Zeppelin took the stage at London’s O2 Arena to headline a tribute concert for friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. What followed was a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band’s signature blues-infused rock ’n’ roll that became part of the legend of Led Zeppelin.

Founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, to perform 16 songs from their celebrated catalog including landmark tracks “Whole Lotta Love,” “Rock And Roll,” “Kashmir,” and “Stairway To Heaven.”

Although 20 million people applied for tickets, the band’s first headline show in 27 years was seen only by the 18,000 ticket holders who secured seats through the worldwide lottery.

The film of Celebration Day will see a worldwide theatrical release by Omniverse Vision on 1500 screens in over 40 territories on October 17, following premieres in London, Los Angeles, New York, and other major cities.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to an Eastleigh screening, just use the Contact Us form and send us an email by Saturday 13 with 'Led Zep' in the subject (delete the automatically generated email subject first), and the names of the two potential ticket winners in the body of the email together with a contact telephone number. We'll pick the winner at random. The editor's decision is final. Good luck.

For hardened Led Zep fans, the following is a 35-minute press conference about the film with detailed questions and answers about the performance.
