Meet the men from the Environment Agency

Once opened, water was allowed to escape beneath it, and the river that can be seen in our other pictures (click the read more link) that had washed over the footpath in Riverside Park began to recede. “Good experienced and knowledgeable men with a difficult job,” said our photographer Ann MacGillivray.
