netTennis, cricket, basketball, golf, softball, badminton, Brazilian soccer, arts and crafts, dodge ball, karaoke, films, team games, ICT, cold cooking, dance, drama, visits… there are lots of activities going on in Bitterne Park and nearby this holiday...

Check out our calendar, or call on 023 8029 4175 for details of sports events at Bitterne Park Sports Hall over the holidays, starting July 31. Sessions concentrate on developing children in school years 4 - 8, and are run by qualified coaches. Events include cricket, basketball, golf, softball, badminton, Brazilian soccer and more.

There are also various events for 5 - 8s and  8 - 13s at Itchen College in Bitterne from August 7 - 25, with early and late stay sessions for children whose parents are working. For 5 - 8s activities include arts and crafts, dodge ball, karaoke, basketball, films, team games, ICT, cold cooking and more.

For 8 - 13s there's a football development course, a creative course including dance, drama, arts, crafts and visits, and a multi sports course where young people get the opportunity to take part in a range of indoor and outdoor games. Call Bridget Whitemore on 023 8044 8787 for more information.

The fourth annual Southampton Mela Festival takes place at Hoglands Park, opposite Debenhams, on August 12 from 12 — 9pm, with live music, activities, fun fair, arts and crafts, food, shopping stalls and lots of family entertainment. Check out the line up here.
