There are concerns that the re-development of Rosebrook Court in Beech Avenue, off Midanbury Lane, will add to existing traffic problems in the area. Developer Saxon Weald Homes will be at the site on July 27 to outline plans and respond to questions.
Saxon Weald will extend Rosebrook Court to the adjacent
property, the bungalow at 2 Beech Avenue. The very sharp left hand bend
from Midanbury Lane into Beech Avenue is already felt to be traffic
hazard, with no action taken against cars parked on the junction, and
dustbin and delivery lorries going to the school in Beech Avenue
finding the corner difficult to negotiate. The current entrance to the
site is just past the difficult bend, and if the site enlarges there’s
a worry that the need for vehicular access will also increase.
The developers, the architect and consultants will be at Rosebrook
Court between 2pm and 7pm on July 27 to outline plans to local
residents and answer any questions.
