Celebrate a child's right to play

hoglands park play day by Anna Roberts SCPACelebrate a child's right to play in Hogland's Park on Friday (July 24) with a variety of activities which in the past have ranged from sand and water play to drumming, storytelling, badge making and circus skills.

Southampton Children's Play Day is an annual event that's been running for around 20 years. It's co-ordinated by Southampton Children’s Play Association, a charity that aims to provide a variety of play experiences to local children, encouraging child-centred play with the belief that every child has the right to freely chosen play. See their website for more information.

Families with children of all ages are welcome.
