On Wednesday April 25 an exhibition is being held for members of the
public to view the coastal strategy for the Itchen River and Netley.
The coastal strategy has been prepared by consultants on behalf of
Southampton City Council, Fareham Borough Council and Eastleigh Borough
Council.
This exhibition will be the first opportunity for people to come
along and make early comments on the initial ideas before the official
consultation period later in the year.
Rob Crighton, Sustainability Officer at Southampton City Council
said: "We urge residents to come along and view the suggested options
for the coastal areas surrounding Itchen and Netley. The final coastal
strategy will be adopted by the council after consultation so we would
like to receive input from the public."
The exhibition will be taking place in the Empire Room, Royal Victoria Country Park on Wednesday April 25 between 1.30-7pm.
