During next week there will be three opportunities for older residents to try out the internet, with plenty of support for beginners.

The events take place at:

Redbridge Community School
Monday May 21 from 2pm to 4pm

Central Library at the Civic Centre
Wednesday May 23 from 10am to 12midday

Merry Oak Community Centre, Acacia Road, Merry Oak Friday May 25from 10am to 4pm

Anyone over 50 is welcome to attend. They can come whatever their current experience - they may have never touched a computer before. There will be a 15 to 30 minute 'taster' session on the basics of internet/email, a chance to ask questions about areas of particular interest and information about digital switch-over.

All the workshops are free and there's no need to book.
