Ann became a familiar sight when she drew the entire length of Portswood Broadway over the space of four months in 2006, and was later frequently spotted, pen in hand, in Bitterne Park Triangle.
That work was later exhibited at Cobbett Road Library.

"Sure, you could say that this exhibition is about buildings. After all, there are buildings in all of my drawings," says Ann on the 'Drawn to Southampton' Facebook event page.
"But I like to think it’s more than just that. It’s about my love of line and my deep attachment to Southampton. For me the two are inseparable. On a building you can map the lines of a place like age on skin. Buildings are our memories, habits, landmarks and homes. They are us."
'Drawn to Southampton' runs at October Books, 189 Portswood Road SO17 2FN from October 2 - October 31, 9.15am - 6pm.
