A resident who has recently moved into Macnaghten Road would like to find out what kind of broadband speeds are achievable in the area.

Peter, who is a director of a local web agency, says: “Since I moved in I’ve been having problems getting reliable ADSL - BT say we're too far from the exchange to get more than 2MB, and even that keeps disconnecting. Not knowing anyone else living on our road or round the Triangle, I wondered if other people are having issues?”

Peter says doesn’t know if that is really the best he can expect, or whether he just has a bad line. He is connected to the Hampton exchange in Portswood.
