Police have advised “young people” not to jump into water from bridges and trees following an accident at Riverside Park when a branch broke and someone fell 30 feet.

It happened on Wednesday. Police tweeted photos from the scene, and said the young person received injuries.
Hillhead Coastguard Rescue Team also warned people to take are around water, tweeting:
“We understand it’s warm but the water is still very cold and cold water shock can effect (sic) even the strongest swimmers. We also advise not jumping / swinging into water as accidents happen. If you see someone in danger or distress dial 999 coastguard”.
