Libraries: festive opening hours

Southampton library users are being reminded that opening hours will be adjusted to allow for the 2005/06 Christmas and New Year bank holidays.

All city libraries will close at 5pm on Friday December 23 and operate on selected days during the festive season. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday January 3, 2006.

Borrowers will be able to renew items on line throughout the holiday period by logging on here  and clicking on 'Renewals and Borrower Information'.

Listed below are full details of Christmas and New Year opening times:

Friday December 23 - all libraries close at 5pm
Saturday December 24 - closed
Sunday December 25 - closed
Monday December 26 - closed
Tuesday December 27 - closed
Wednesday December 28 - normal opening hours
Thursday December 29 - normal opening hours
Friday December 30 - normal opening hours
Saturday December 31 - normal opening hours
Sunday January 1 - closed
Monday January 2 - closed
Tuesday January 3 - normal opening hours resume
